Collection: Domaine Georges Vernay

An iconic estate in the Rhône Valley, Domaine Georges-Vernay is renowned for its Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu wines. Christine Vernay, who has managed the estate and overseen the winemaking process for over 25 years, took over in 1996 from her father (Georges Vernay, credited with saving the appellation and the Viognier grape variety) and her grandfather (Francis Vernay), who founded the estate.

The estate now encompasses 24 hectares of planted and cultivated land, including 17 hectares on steep slopes, spread across three appellations: Condrieu (10 hectares), Côte-Rôtie (6 hectares), and Saint-Joseph (2 hectares), and two IGPs: Syrah and Viognier (6 hectares).
Christine Vernay has earned the estate the distinction of being an outstanding winemaker and has earned her the prestigious 100/100 award.
