More about this wine
More about this wine
The Bonserine vineyard has 11 ha of vines in Côte-Rôtie and 1 ha of Condrieu on the prestigious sites of Côte-blonde, Côte-Brûne, les Moutonnes, la Viallière, Leyat, le Champin, Fondjean, Planèze, for Côte-Rôtie and les Eyguets, Grande, and Condrieu.
They seek to express and reveal the potential of each terroir. Each parcel is vinified separately without yeasting, with its own indigenous yeasts. They consider that the yeasts naturally present on the skin of the grapes are an integral part of the terroir and serve to reveal it.
Ludovic Richard manages this estate, which was bought by Guigal in 2006, but the Bonserine estate has its own personality: its wines are very different in style and texture.
