The fully ripe grapes were gently pressed, the juices carefully clarified and the fermentation conducted in oak barrels by the local yeasts. If we add to this an exceptional terroir made up of thin clay-limestone resting on the famous Touraine tuffeau with its flint veins, we obtain a high-class base wine that is wonderfully expressed in this sparkling wine.

Tasting notes

Ripe fruit, vanilla, peach, brioche make up a complex and elegant palette, relayed by a balanced, long and fresh mouth.

Domaine de La Fontainerie has been faithful to tradition since 1712. This family vineyard is usually handed down from mother to daughter. Since 1990, Catherine DERUET DHOYE has had the pleasure of continuing the family tradition.

The different types of Vouvray are not produced every year, depending on the year's climate to achieve the best harmony.
