Development of biodiversity by planting orchards, truffle oaks and honey plants, and by mowing grassy areas late in the year to protect pollination times, restoration of local heritage structures (small stone huts known as cadoles).

Domaine Alexandre Bonnet
Highly prised grower champagnes from the Côte des Bar
At the southern edge of Champagne, where the region gently fades into Burgundy, Domaine Alexandre Bonnet draws its identity from the singular terroir of Les Riceys. Shaped by Kimmeridgian limestone and steep slopes, this rare village is the only one in Champagne to give birth to three appellations, all carried by the quiet strength of Pinot Noir.
Here, each parcel is listened to rather than directed. The wines unfold with natural depth and tension, capturing the wild, austere beauty of the landscape.
