Tasting notes
Tasting notes
Eye
Pale yellow.
Nose
Fragrant-fresh with stone fruit, bitter almonds, and floral notes.
Palate
Its oily texture cut by racy acids and saline minerality. Fine and delicate, yet so vibrant.
Service and Pairing
Great for the aperitif, any sort of seafood, fish and cheeses.
Domaine Giudicelli
Muriel Giudicelli and her husband are leading ambassadors of biodynamics in Corsica. Operating around ten hectares mainly located in the north of Corsica on the AOC Patrimonio and Muscat du Cap Corse, the couple settled in Poggio d'Oletta at the end of the 1990s. Their soils are varied: clay-limestone, schists and granites contribute to the great complexity of their vintages. The harvest is manual, using indigenous yeasts and great care is taken in both viticulture and winemaking. No input is used with the exception of sulphites in very small quantities and the vinification is carried out gently in stainless steel vats or Stockinger tuns. Tasting a house wine is drinking the Corsican terroir in all its purity!
