More about this wine

At the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, vines are planted at an altitude of between 100 and 500 meters on three types of soil, including the famous Triassic marls. In 2005, the appellation’s red wines were awarded Cru of the Rhône Valley.

60% grenache, 30% syrah, 10% mourvèdre.

Terroir
Triassic marl, Cretaceous white earth, Grey Jurassic earth. A blend of three terroirs including three levels of altitude from 100 to 500 meters.
Winemaking
All grapes varieties were vinified together.
This method of vinification was made possible thanks to the difference of altitude of the plots.
Ageing
The high altitude vines provided sufficient acidity and freshness to allow Burgundian style ageing in barrel for 50% of the blend.
The rest was aged in stainless steel tanks.

Can age until 2026+.
