More about this wine

One of the first blends signed by Xavier Vignon. The berries come from “collection vines”, where many grapes varieties have been planted according to the appellation’s tradition. It is therefore difficult to give the exact proportion of each grape varieties. A wine that lives up to its name!

60% grenache, 15% mourvèdre, 10% syrah and other grapes (Vaccarèse, counoise).

Terroir
Selection of plots located on 5 different terroirs in the appellation: La Crau, rolled pebbles, sands, safres and urgonians.
Winemaking
Low-temperature vinification to preserve freshness.
Extraction of seed tannins has been limited to preserve the finesse of the skin tannins.
Ageing
Ageing for 18 months: 1/3 in concrete tank, 1/3 in truncated wooden tank and 1/3 in demi-muids.

Will mature until 2034+
