The Cornas vineyards grow on the right bank of the Rhône. The steep, East-facing slopes form a natural amphitheatre, protecting the vines from cold winds. Syrah is the appellation's only authorised grape variety, expressing its full strength and power in this terroir.

100% syrah.

Terroir
Shallow soil and composed mostly of massive granites rich in potassium, iron, and magnesium. Microclimate created by a combination of sun and mistral wind.
Winemaking
Hand harvest and vinification in whole grapes.
Extended maceration to obtain a concentrated wine built for years of ageing, with an almost black color.
Ageing
Extended maturation in large new and old tuns, favoring the softening of the tannins and limiting the contribution of woody notes.

Bottled in 2022. Will age until 2035.

Eye
Dark brown, almost black.
Nose
Aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry. Notes of black fruits, undergrowth, truffle and mushrooms.
Palate
Velvety and acid tannins, peppery finish.
