Coming from several plots selected throughout the Burgundy vineyard, the Domaine Decelle & Fils Burgundy Red cuvée is essentially made up of selected plots of “small villages” such as Mercurey, Ladoix-Serrigny and Savigny.
The common denominator of these plots is the limestone bedrock present throughout the Côte des Vins.
The grapes are harvested and vinified by hand like all our great wines, with careful sorting on the table, 100% destemming and then long vatting periods of around three weeks.
After a very gentle pressing, the Bourgogne Decelle & Fils is then taken down to the cellar and aged in barrels for around a year.

Eye
The color is a deep red with a beautiful shine.
Nose
Offering powerful aromas of red fruits and morello cherries and a spicy note that will reveal itself as the Bourgogne Domaine Decelle & Fils opens up.
Palate
Marked by the power of the tannic structure, present without being aggressive, proof of a great vintage.

Organic Burgundy Wines from Nuits-Saint-Georges

Founded in 2008 by renowned winemakers Olivier Decelle and Pierre-Jean Villa, Domaine Decelle & Fils produces elegant, terroir-driven wines from some of Burgundy’s finest appellations. Based in a restored 19th-century cellar in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the estate cultivates 8 hectares of vines, primarily Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, grown on clay-limestone soils ideal for Burgundy’s signature varieties.

Since 2010, the domaine has embraced organic viticulture, preserving the purity and diversity of Burgundy’s terroirs while crafting wines of finesse, balance, and authenticity.
